What's Enterprise mobility solution
Tough is often overused in advertisements. But the real deal of rugged computing is more than a merely added cover over little turbulence and knocks. Besides its handheld size and wireless features, the actual rugged computers are made to endure various degrees of misuse, like the brutal fieldwork, weather, etc. It needs to have at least two forms of certification. One is Military Standard MIL-STD, which proves the equipment has been tested in various harsh situations originally devised for military applications. The other one is Ingress Protection, IP rating, which verifies protection against the dirty-dusty environment, humidity, and water. Without these certifications, you might consider a gadget's ruggedness mere marketing.
