Ethernet Data Transmission Distance Extension
In traditional Power over Ethernet applications, the maximum distance is 100 meters between PSE (power sourcing equipment) and PD (power device) using copper twisted-pair cable, which causes many restrictions on the network architecture.
In order to break through this limitation and enable service providers or electricians to have more convenient applications on the deployment of the network service, we have broken the PoE limit to delivering the data and power over a distance of 200 meters. It not only saves the cost of network deployments including cabling, but also saves the corresponding power consumption.
Users can enable the Extend mode of PoE configuration via the web GUI or the DIP switch to easily extend the transmission distance to 200 meters.
