Configurable System

With the arrival of Industry 4.0, conventional all-in-one automation panels lack the flexibility to meet industry requirements. To address this need, Advantech created its series of modular panel PC solutions based on three performance-segmented modules — a control panel, industrial thin-client, and industrial monitor. The modular design of Advantech’s solutions allows the computing box modules to be interchangeably combined with Advantech’s display modules to provide comprehensive platform solutions for specific field applications.

FPM-B700

The FPM series of modular industrial monitors extend the functionality of typical industrial monitors. The flexible modularized design allowed users to change the video interface according to their usage demands. Additionally, unlike traditional industrial touch monitors that can only support controllers in a one-to-one capacity, the FPM series monitors can support two controllers simultaneously. Moreover, with the inclusion of Picture-in-Picture (PiP) technology, users can easily change the display layout and switch between units that need operating.

TPC-B200

TPC computing box modules are powered by 6th Gen Intel® Core™/Celeron® processors combined with an industrial-grade LED LCD module, providing compact and fanless control panel solutions that support high-performance computing. With a flexible modular design, they allow users to interchange video interfaces such as industrial monitors which can be used as an interface of two controllers simultaneously via the PiP (Picture-in-Picture) feature, or expand the signal transmission distance to 100m via iLINK technology.

FPM-Display

Advantech’s modular display series offers five display modules ranging between 12.1" and 21.5" inches in size to go with three computing boxes (TPC-B200/TPC-B500/ FPM-B700) for a total of 25 potential configurations that can be flexibly adapted to various scenarios. Modular display series are equipped with industrial grade LCD and Projected Capacitive touch (12" Resistive touch) screens, providing the best user experience and reliable operation. The modular design ensures flexible configuration and easy maintenance/upgrades. Its robust enclosure is equipped with a die-cast aluminum alloy front bezel and IP66 rating for protection from dust and water ingress. Moreover, optional Wi-Fi/NFC antennas can be built into the front panel for enhanced connectivity and signal reception.
